I Won't Let You Down

One of my favourite songs from the eighties, Ph.D's I Won't Let You Down was a Top 10 UK hit in April 1982, when I was a highly suggestible fifteen year old.

Thankfully, I'm still pretty suggestible. Just not fifteen anymore.

Dear Jane

Congratulations on your Anker monument. (No money changed hands I presume!) Most poets are seeking immortality and you seem to have achieved it whilst still incarnate. I remove my battered beret in awe and reverence.

Best wishes from Simon
