It's a fun way to spend the morning.

Afterwards, I intend to shop, since the BBC studios are right in the heart of the old city centre, below the world-famous cathedral and only three minutes' walk from the main shopping area.
Books, of course, will be my main purchase tomorrow. But I do need some new slippers too.

Gah! Am being dragged out to the shops tomorrow on pain of death, so won't be able to listen live. We can listen on Iplayer though, I assume?
Good luck with it, and with the shopping. Bought my first pair of slippers EVER two days ago. Marks & Spencer's (mens) fur-lined moccasins. They are lovely, no girly fancy bits, blissfully comfy and safer than socks. They've also got hard soles so I can trot out to the bins without getting soggy.

Agree re hard soles on slippers - so useful when you need to pop outside.
